As the world is progressing towards its technology driven revolution in every step of its functioning we believe the best way to keep in place with it by giving the students a well equipped computer center.
It is equipped with the latest PC’s and licensed software.
Apart from the Central computing facility there are separate computer centers in each department.
Facilities
Both the institutes offer hostel facilities for students. Accommodation for girl students is separate.
All rooms are three-seated for boys and double-seated for girls, these are furnished with a set of furniture for each student separately including study table, chair, cupboard and bed.
Facilities for Water Cooler & Boiler for hot water are also available.
Presently, on-campus hostel facilities for 164 boys and Girls exist. Each hostel wing has attached washroom. The rooms are fully secured and security guards are posted in both Boys’ and Girls’ hostels.
The hostel has all modern facilities including telephone and 24 hr Internet connection, a large dining hall and common room with indoor games. In the hostel, washing machines and dry-cleaning facilities will also be provided. Room coolers are provided on requirement basis. Hot water is also provided.
Hostel has a standby power supply provision. All hostlers are required to eat in the hostel and follow the hostel discipline strictly.
Medical Services
The well-being of our students is our utmost importance. The college provides a regular physician for routine check-ups and taking regular care of health of students during day and night without any charge for normal treatment and consultation. In case of pathology or special treatment, fee and other imposed charges will be charged. One pharmacist has to stay at medical center for 24 hours. First aid kits and other required medicines are available for use without any cost and are being distributed among the patients only after proper consultation and record.
Skill and Personality Development
Knowledge alone does not help in securing success. The student must have the capacity to articulate and present their view-point effectively. Therefore, college has taken a series of measures for the personality development of our students.
By ensuring the compulsory attendance of each student in these programs, we aim at equipping the students with requisite skills so that our students are ready to take on their adversaries in the market with loads of confidence.
Keeping these things; in mind the following steps are taken:
• English improvement and personality development classes are arranged for all students.
• Additional latest computer topics are taught to bridge the gap between industry requirement and knowledge gained by the students.
• Training is arranged on live projects for the students to enable them to gain first hand knowledge of challenges of professional life.
